About the Classroom
The Bear Cubs are the second youngest group of children at Friends Child Care Center with ages ranging from 10 months of age to approximately 18 months of age. Our main goal is to provide a safe environment for our young infants. Our children will be able to develop and learn through many curriculum activities including music, movement, art and literacy, etc. We use a primary care system, assigning one teacher to 4 children, observing and taking notes on their children’s development throughout their stay in the Bear Cubs room.
Your Teachers
Hello, my name is Michelle Jenkins-Hines. I have been working at Friends Child Care Center since October 15, 1989. When I first started, I was hired as a substitute teacher. Over the next few years, I went from a part time assistant teacher to full time to Lead Teacher. I have enjoyed my role of mentoring assistant teachers, welcoming them to the Center or to the Classroom that I Lead. I enjoy providing a safe, healthy and fun learning environment for the children at Friends Child Care Center.

My name is Nathalie Noel. I have worked at Friends Child Care Center since 2007. Many of my years in child care were spent at FCCC in the younger infant (Care Bears) room. I now work in the Quads class. I am a part time employee here at FCCC for the afternoon. I currently have some accredited courses in Early Childhood Education.
